Major Projects

SCR - Turner EnviroLogic has been awarded the contract to supply a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) System to reduce the emissions from a G-E 7EA power turbine at Connecticut Municipal Electric Energy Cooperative’s Alfred Pierce Station Re-Powering Project in Wallingford, CT.  The initial project is to supply the SCR housing, silencer and exhaust stack only with the ability to add the catalyst and ammonia injection systems at a later date.  Installation scheduled for Summer 2007.  Read more ….

SCR - Turner EnviroLogic has been awarded the contract to supply two (2) Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) Systems to reduce the emissions from two (2) Roll Royce Trent 60  WLE power turbines at the Town of Braintree’s Thomas A. Watson Generating Station in Braintree, MA.  The SCR’s will reduce both NOx and CO emissions.  Installation is scheduled for the spring of 2008.  Read more …

Thermal Oxidizer – Turner EnviroLogic recently completed the commissioning of a Thermal Oxidizer at the Rumpke Landfill Site in Cincinnati, OH.  GSF Energy operates a methane gas recovery plant at the landfill where methane gas from the landfill is purified.  The plant provides natural gas energy for approximately 20,000 homes.  Turner EnviroLogic’s Thermal Oxidizer is used to reduce VOC, HAP and CO2 emissions from the plant _.
