Direct-fired thermal oxidizers, also known as afterburners or incinerators, are capable or breaking down harmful volatile organic compounds (VOCs) into non-hazardous compounds over a wide range of concentrations and operating conditions by carefully controlling the three T’s – time, temperature, and turbulence. Combining exhaust gases with air ahead of the oxidation chamber allows for proper mixing before the gases are heated with a burner to the appropriate temperature and duration to destroy the pollutants. They can safely handle incoming fluctuations in waste stream flow rates and compositions of contaminants for a highly reliable air pollution control system.
We design and manufacture all DFTO systems in-house along with a bevy of other abatement equipment one-stop pollutant control solution to meet your needs.
